4-inch face recognition with Wi-Fi & 2MP camera – 5000 users, cloud & SDK

The Asia-Teco AI21 is a state-of-the-art biometric access control and time and attendance terminal equipped with a 4-inch touchscreen LCD, a 2 MP color camera, and a 2 MP infrared camera. With its ability to manage up to 5,000 faces and cards, the device is ideally suited for medium-sized and large businesses, offices, or access control solutions in residential complexes.

The device uses Linux 4.19 as its operating system and is powered by an ARM Cortex-A7 CPU (800 MHz) with an NPU (800G computing power) to enable fast and reliable facial recognition. With an algorithm based on a multi-task cascaded neural network, the device offers dynamic facial recognition, facial tracking, and anti-spoofing protection against deceptive images or videos.

Facial recognition accuracy is approximately 99.70%, and the recognition speed is ≤ 0.2 seconds. The recognition range is typically between 0.5 and 2.5 meters, although 0.5 to 1.5 meters is recommended with facial recognition enabled.

Other features include WDR (Wide Dynamic Range) for reliable face recognition in bright light or backlighting, and automatic LED lighting in dark environments.

For communication, the device supports TCP/IP, WLAN, USB, and an access control interface (lockout, doorbell/alarm, Weigand input/output). The included software comprises both locally installable presence detection software and web-based cloud software, without additional license fees.

The device operates in a temperature range of 0 to 45 °C and a humidity range of 20% to 90%. It supports 20 national languages ​​and voices (e.g., English, Spanish, Arabic, etc.).
